This marks an increase from the $282.83 billion revenue recorded in 2022, which itself surpassed the $257.63 billion revenue in 2021. Revenue represents the total income generated by a company through the sale of goods or services. And they’re not slowing down. They’re working on new stuff, like an artificial intelligence software called Gemini, which will compete with other advanced models.
However, amid Google’s success, criticism of Big Tech is mounting. They’re facing more and more criticism, especially from places like the European Union. People are worried about their privacy and unfair competition.
